Annoyed in Michael Grimm America’s Got Talent win

Another “America’s Got Talent” season has ended. A definite front runner was hard to pick, as there was not a bad choice in the “America’s Got Talent” last four. There were three singers, Michael Grimm, Jackie Evancho, and Prince Poppycock. There was also an incredible dance group, Fighting Gravity. The last show featured guest spots from entertainment heavyweights Jewel and Lionel Ritchie, making for a spectacle as solid as a brick house. The favorite was Jackie Evancho, it seemed, as the ten year old has a Susan Boyle like voice fascinated many. The victor, however, proved to be the underdog Michael Grimm.

Finale really worth watching

The “America’s Got Talent” season five finale was set to be an epic contest. The final competitive stage, though, took place two days before it. That is when the contestants put on the last performance for points for the season. Michael Grimm would be at home in any of this type of shows. The singer/songwriter type with a blues tinge is always a hot commodity if the person in question is good. Prince Poppycock was something a little different. An opera vocalist at heart, but he uses elaborate costumes and stages in an act that manages to fuse Kiss, Lady Gaga, and Paul Revere and also the Raiders. Then there was Jackie Evancho. Evancho has been a sensation all season, as the tiny ten year old has a titanic voice. The odd man out, of sorts, was Fighting Gravity, and incredibly talented dance troupe.

Voting takes a Grimm tone

The results get revealed on a retrospective and special performance episode, just like “American Idol.”. Prince Poppycock got buzzed on, as outlined by Columbia Broadcasting System, by Piers Morgan. It wasn’t without reason though. Poppycock fairly much has one act, but with different songs. Evancho is remarkable because of her talent, but even a 10-year old singing opera ballads gets a bit old after awhile. Variety is the spice of life, and Michael Grimm reaped the benefits of that in his winning “America’s Got Talent.” It seems that Fighting Gravity, who is incredibly talented. However, only one year of the show was not won by a singer. As outlined by People, Grimm already has plans. He will purchase a house for his grandparents.

Attendees steal the show

Just about everyone paired with a great entertainer for the last show performance. Poppycock performed with Donna Summer, Lionel Ritchie sang “Dancing on the Ceiling” for Fighting Gravity and Grimm performed a duet with Jewel, singing “Me and Bobby McGee.” This season wrapped up well.
